He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tinh Minh Lý and Lành Thị Nguyễn; his wife Phụng Ngủ (Vickie); his children, Nicole (Jeb), Tuyết (Fan), Xuân (Wilfred), Phương (Khuong) and Yến (Aleksandr); and his grandchildren, Halle, Xavier, Olivia, Aaliyah, River, Anissa, Lilia and Ella. He was also cherished by several brothers and two sisters.
