It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Raina Slegel of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who passed away, on August 18, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Slegel; her parents, Augustine Yaholnitsky and Katherine Yaholnitsky (Kyba); her former husband Michael Kotelko of Carpenter, SK.; her daughter Daria; and her siblings, Modest, Myroslaw "Russell", Yaroslaw "Gerald" and Nadia Sochaski (Eugene).
She is survived by: her children, Dobrodijka Karen Wasylenko (Very), Carla Bosma and Donnalee Weinmaster (James); her grandchildren, Thomas (Lindsay), Matthew Weinmaster, Lara Wasylenko, Meghan Brown (Dylan), Brittany and Lindsey Bosma; her great grandchildren, Aidy, Riley and Mila; and her sister Vera Webster. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
In 2020, in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, Mom and Dad moved to Saskatoon to be closer to family.
