He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens and Hazel; his sister Olive (George); his daughter Teresa; his stepdaughters, Katrina and Sherry; and his grandson Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Elleen; and his children, Greg (Lori) and Cindy (Ray). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
