The memory of Rene Jean Pinel (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Ponteix, Saskatchewan, who passed away on November 18, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Tillie Rose Erker; his parents, Olivier and Bibiane; and his brothers, Raymond, Armand and Maurice.

He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Janis (Jared); his grandchildren, Adelyn and Ryker; and his brothers, Ernest Pinel (Helen) and Marcel Pinel (Sheila). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
