It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rene Turcot (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Turcot and Rene Joseph Ovide Turcot; and his brothers, Leonard Turcot and Kenneth Turcot. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Turcot; his daughters, Rayna Jacobson and Michelle Dietz (Les); his stepdaughter Lorie Gorrill; his grandchildren, Riley Jacobson, Dallon and Danielle Dietz; and his siblings, Shirley Trost and Jeanette Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19, a Private Family Graveside Service was held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the SPCA.
