He was predeceased by: his grandson Benjamin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Anderson; his daughter Shelley Gerbrandt (Ron) of Saskatoon; his grandchildren, Jeremy and Jessica; his son Dwight Shanner (Collette) of Summerland, B. C.; his grandchildren, Corwin and Rachel; his siblings, Roy (Ethel), Clara Lapointe, Bob (Faye), Don (Helene) and Linda Campbell (Arnold); and also Sharon Seebach (Wes).
Dick's 24 day battle with AML leads us to request that in lieu of flowers, donations are to be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
