He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Smith; his brother Randy Smith; his grandmother Irene Dimick; his sister Tina-Lynn Ritchie; his stepfather Isadore Thibodeau (Bill); his aunts, Phyllis Dehr and Eva Skerry; and his uncle Lloyd Ouellette (Chuck).

He is survived by: his mother Nora Cummings; his wife Jacquie Bouvier; his daughter Natasha Pilon; his former wife Lori Wolaschuk; his stepson Guy; his son George Durocher (Gordon); his grandsons, Dante Pilon and Dereon Brown; his son Greg Mollon; his siblings, Gerald Smith, Robert Smith, Ronald Thibodeau (Bonnie), William Thibodeau (Brenda), Thomas Thibodeau (Mary Ann), Cary Gaddie (Rowan), Penny Burkardt (Tony) and Judy Elliott (Darrell); and his friend Jacquie Bouvier. He is also survived by Many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
