She was predeceased by: her former husband Henry Yungman; her son-in-law Alan McCormac; her parents, Francis Xavier and Barbara Gruber; her brother Joe Gruber; and her brother-in-law Donald Ulrich.
She is survived by: her siblings, Hilda, Frank and George; her husband Allan Merkowsky; her children, Lynn (Garry Mayer), Daren (Stephanie), Donna, James (Maureen) and Gerard (Lynette); her grandchildren, Duncan, Luke, Jason (Britany), Kate-Lynn, Jerod (Colby), Ryan (Angie), Danica (Cian Bannerman), Cole, Brynn, Brett, Kian, Kendra, Angela, Brennan and Katrina; and her great grandchildren, Harvey, Milo, Sophia, Catherine and Connall.
