He is survived by: his children, Ted Spurgeon (Shirley), Mark Spurgeon (Linda), Mitch Spurgeon and Bev Kowaluk (Darren); and his close friend Justina Driedger. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
