He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Astrid; his children, Elisa (Lundmark-Vinding) and Robert James; and his siblings, Hildur (Robinson), Esther, Edith (Pettibone), Bill, George, Eddy, Ellen (Cymbolisky), Elsie (Flemming) and Edna (Therian).
He is survived by: his children, Deborah (Michael), Sandra (Tony Garnett) and Greg (Anne); his wife Doris Hermanson; his son-in-law Bruce (Vinding); and his grandchildren, Britta, Erik, Nils (Searing), Haley (Garnett), Johnathan (Garnett), Andrew (Garnett), Amanda (Rushton), Kelda (Toney), Allison, David, Kenton (Vinding) and Riley-James (Vinding). He is also survived by seven step great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
