He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack and Betty. He is survived by : his wife Joan of Paul's Palliative Care Unit; his grandchildren, Kyle, Jordan (Brittany), Jenna (Brandon), Daniel (Megan), Nathen and Aric; his great grandchildren, Evan, Jackson and Rand; his sister Janette (Raymond); his siblings-in-law, Bev and Garry (Marilyn); and his nephew Ricky. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Palliative Care Unit, St. Paul's Hospital.
