He was predeceased by: his wife Stella. He is survived by: his children, Avon Whittles (Lorne), Garth Matheson and Glynn Matheson; his grandchildren, Raegan Dirk (Dan Dirk-Pothier), Carter Matheson and Cady Matheson; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Nolan and Charly.
