He was predeceased by: his mother Olive Quintin; his stepfather Gaston Quintin; his brothers, Jerome Quintin and Don Migneault; and his birth father Peter Shiels.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Dean (Donna) and Alan (Janna); his grandchildren, Steven of Christina, AJ, Amy and Megan; and his siblings, Harley Quintin (Gerry), Maurice Quintin (Michelle) and Teresa Paradis (Marcel). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
