He was predeceased by: his parents, Olav Gjevre and Tyra Gjevre; his siblings, Richard Gjevre, Dorothy Goad and Fern Benjaminson; his siblings-in-law, Jean Geddes, Bev Freeden (Gord), Gary Freeden and Lorne Freeden; his nephew Wes Freeden; Keith and Vern.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Freeden); his sons, Todd and Blair; his grandchildren, Kyra Gjevre and Brielle Gjevre; his siblings, Judy Donoahue and Andy Gjevre; and his brother-in-law Gordon Freeden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
