She was predeceased by: her mother Phyllis Skakun; and her brother-in-law Al Basky. She is survived by: her father Alex Skakun; her sister Karen Basky (Clinton Ives); her children, Stacey Clarke and Jason Schmitz (Angelle); her stepdaughter Shawna Bradley (Stuart); her stepgranddaughters, Angela Iwanicki and Carolyn Ives (Paul Martin); and her granddaughter Kaitlin Samuel (Levi). She is also survived by her relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in Sandra's name may be made to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation.
