He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrienne Lalonde (April) and Théodule Lalonde; and his siblings, Claude, Gabrielle, Estelle, Léonard, Richard, Gaston, Aurèle and Victor.
He is survived by: his son Alain Joël (Natalie); his wife Annie; his child Filoue (Zola); and his siblings, Denise, Julien, André, Céline, Irène, Laurent and Monique. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
