He was predeceased by: his parents, Lina March and Alexander Murray March; his wife Shirley Slickman; his grandson Reid Murray; and his siblings, Jim, Bruce, Keith and Bessie Wingrove.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Murray (Bruno Gavran), Colleen Gallant (Greg), Forbes Murray (Suzanne), Gina Streisel (Paul) and Peter Slickman (Miranda); his grandchildren, Kinzie (Callum Murray), Alex (Ally Gallant), Patrick Gavran, Adam (Sarah Streisel) and Olenka (Jake Slickman); and his siblings, Ross Murray and Sybil Higginson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
