He was predeceased by: his wife Marge; and his great grandchild Sophie Gurel (Ben). He is survived by: his children, Debbie, Jerome and Linda (Brent Boeckx); his great grandchildren, Miranda (Aaron Hector), Michael Gurel (Tasha Seeseequasis) and Ben Gurel (Katarina Knezvic); and his brothers, Siva (Devi) and Joey (Pam).
