He was predeceased by: his parents, William Panchuk and Dora Panchuk; his siblings, Mary (John Miazga) and Andrew (Stephanie); and his son-in-law Kevin Hnidy.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his daughters, Shelly (Cam Murdock) and Laurie Hnidy; his grandchildren, Alexa Hnidy (Seth Pechey), Mitch Hnidy (Jessa Regehr) and Zach Murdock (Kate McDaid); and his sister-in-law Eileen Kubin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Elaine & family Our deepest sympathy to Ted,s family,New Ted from the good old days at Labatts Brewery, Sorry to see a good man leave us. Used to run into him now and then at Market Mall. Remember him telling a story about taking his wife to hospital,in a raging snow storm were his daughter was born,It happened to be on our wedding night in 1964..Ted could tear a telephone directory in half with his bare hands,they were thick then.. Peace be with you Ted.”
