He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hnatiw and Annie Hnatiw; his grandparents, Elko and Anastasia Hnatiw; and his siblings, Steve, Alex, Nick, Ronald and Phyllis Remenda.
He is survived by: his wife Julie; his daughter Sherry; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kendyl and Karly (Ryan); his daughter Darlene; his granddaughter Amanda; his son Michael (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jordan, Demi and Brandon; his son Bryan; and his sisters-in-law, Esther and Gerri Hnatiw. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
