It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Isabel Fitzgerald (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 15, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Fitzgerald; her parents, William McDonell and Gertrude McDonell; and her siblings, Loretta McDonell and Leo McDonell.

She is survived by: her children, Edward, Bill, Maureen Toronto (Fraser Howard), Michael Edmonton (Maureen Love), Peter Ancaster (Susan Sheck) and Carol; her siblings, Eva Marcoux of Saskatoon and Bill McDonell; and her grandchildren, Bree (Kim), Michael (Christine), John, Chuck (Meghan), Theresa (James), Sean, Megan, Daniel (Robyn), Katie (Dave), Kevin and Jack. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered in Theresa's name to the University of Ottawa Eye Institute of The Ottawa Hospital.
