With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Machula (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Vera has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She is survived by: her siblings, Konstantyn and Polia Chernenko; her husband Bohdan; her children, Andrew (Luba), Lora, Giovanni Conti (John), Ihor (Tanya) and Boris (Sonja Pfeffer); her grandsons, Lucas and Zachary (Hillary); and her great grandchildren, Grace and Henry. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
