He was predeceased by: his son Byron; his parents, John and Veronica; his brother Lawrence Zakerson; his in-laws, Adonias and Marguerite Gaudet; his nieces, Tanya Lavertu and Tracey Painter; and his nephew Garrett Lavertu.
He is survived by: his wife Estelle; his son Trevor (Lorie); his daughter-in-law Nadine; and his grandchildren, Seth, Harley, Brenna and Daemon. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
