It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon James Pollard (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Leask, Saskatchewan, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Pollard and Pansy Pollard; his former wife Alberta Bazowsky; his children, Arlene Nilson (Tim), Sandra McLaughlin (John Thompson), Verne Leonard (Carmen) and Bev Leonard (Eddy Esquirol); his grandchildren, Corey Nilson, Wade Nilson, Mark Nilson, Erin Holcomb, Lisa McLaughlin, Erin Scott, Emily Leonard and Brett Leonard; his close friend Polly Salmon; his son-in-law Tim McLaughlin (Alberta); and his wife Joan Leonard.
