He was predeceased by: his parents, Østen Oscar and Fredrikke Henrietta (Möller); his brothers, Dr. Gerhart (Helen), Adolf and Leo (Lorraine); his son-in-law John Gaschler; his niece Carol Mattefs; his nephew Lee; and his great-nephews, Brion and Andrew George.
He is survived by: his wife Ethelda; and his daughters, Beth Gaschler (family: Christopher, Nicholas, Aaron, Parker, Trisha Ottenbreit, Violet, Nathan, Dawn Callaghan, Declan, Harper) and Kari Mitchell (Ron, family: Robyn Bender, Hailey, Addilyn, Nicole Karst, Hadley, Lincoln, Lisa Petterson, Buck, Ella). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
