He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Owen and Margaret Owen; his wife Ruth; his son David; his brothers, Glynn and Robert Owen; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Owen, Don Propp and Audrey Propp.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Gervais (Denny) of Calgary, AB, Gwen Dawson (David) of Calgary, AB and Maureen Sutherland of Saskatoon, SK; his daughter-in-law Kristina Owen of Edmonton, AB.; his sisters, Marlene Rusnell (Dave) of Trail, BC and Shani Apland (Greg) of Yorkton, SK; his sister-in-law Moira Owen of Calgary, AB; his close friend Patricia Deibert; his friends, Gary and Audrey Gullickson; his grandchildren, Derek (Jenna), Megan (Geoff), Mark (Sierra), Michael, Kirsten (Bobby), Cole (Melissa), Emily, Maggie, Ellie and Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Hayes, Cooper, Lincoln and Walker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members, and so many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Knox United Church (838 Spadina Crescent E, Saskatoon, SK S7K3H4).
