He was predeceased by: his wife Laurie Zech; his parents, Sophie Zech and Erwin Zech; his brother Eric Zech; and his sister-in-law Gail Zech.
He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Zech and Brianna Zech; his brothers, Helmut Zech and Helfried Zech; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Zech. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
