He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil and Mary; his brother Dennis; and his nephew Kurt. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Brad (Amanda), Greg (Linda) and Leeann (Ken); his sisters, Sharon (Ed) and Dianne (Doug); and his nephew Kim (Kerri, family: Karen).
