He was predeceased by: his parents, David Friesen and Margaret Friesen (Doerksen) of Mennon; his brothers, Raymond, Kenneth and Robert; and his granddaughter Alissa Sanders (Namur).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Schultz (Schultz); his children, Laurie Husband (Dan), Lyn Namur (Marc) and Jeff (Camille); and his siblings, Gerald (Francis) and Marjorie Heppner. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
