He was predeceased by: his father Harry Murfin; his stepfather William Bainand; and his father-in-law William "Buck" Dougan. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Murfin (Dougan); his children, Jason (Sharleen) and Ashley (Tyler); his grandchildren, Ainsley, Emery, Kash, John and Mathew; his siblings, Karen (Tony) of Abbotsford, B. C., Sheri (Chester) of Chitek Lake and Brian (Andrea) of Saskatoon; his mother-in-law Patsy Dougan of Chitek Lake; his brothers-in-law, Charles Dougan (Bev) of Chitek Lake and Craig Dougan (Sharon) of Chitek Lake; Loretta Bain of Dalmeny. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chitek Lake Community Hall (20 SK-265, Candle Lake, SK S0J3E0).
Memorial donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.
