With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zechariah William Gara (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 32. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Nick Babichuk and John Gara; and his cousin Larissa Babichuk. He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Gara and Wanda Babichuk; his sisters, Sarah Gara, Rebekah Hainstock (Adam) and Selinah Gara; his nieces and nephews, Jeremiah, Florence, Gideon and Odette; and his grandmothers, Vicki Babichuk and Doris Gara.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Saskatoon Crisis Intervention Service or the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation.
