It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Petryna of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Halvor Haugen; her husband Steve Petryna; and her son Lydell of Medicine Hat. She is survived by : her mother Genevieve Haugen; her children, Calvin (Audrey) of Redcliff, Cheryl Erickson of Shaunavon, Randy (Judy) of Calgary, Clint of Shaunavon, Dean (Julie) of Leduc and Diana Pommier (Randy) of Shaunavon; her siblings, Iris Field of Adrossan and Norm Haugen (Carol) of Stony Plain; and her grandsons, Cory Petryna, Kelly Petryna, Ryan Erickson, Jeff Erickson, Matthew Petryna, Sean Petryna, Kyle Petryna and Justin Pommier. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bridge Alliance Church (199 3 Ave W, Shaunavon, SK S0N2M0).
