It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Lester (Shaunavon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Jim may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jim touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Opal Lester and Allan Lester; and his sister Barbara. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shaunavon Elks Hall (501 3rd St W, Shaunavon, SK S0N2M0).
