She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ruetz and Anne Ruetz; her husband Donald Gardner; her brother Michael Ruetz; her parents-in-law, Samuel Gardner and Evelyn Gardner; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Nicolson and Donna Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Gardner (Colin) of Regina, SK, Colin Gardner (Aaron) of Clavet, SK and Nadine Wilson (Brent) of Lashburn, SK; her grandchildren, Kyla Fuller (Mason Wagner), Taliya, Madison, Karson Gardner, Avery, Kieran Gardner, Drake and Kendyl Wilson; her siblings, Alan Ruetz, Ron Ruetz (Cheryl), Richard Ruetz (Sandra), Ian Ruetz (Linda), Gordon Ruetz and Virgina Stewart (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Elliott and Lois Hanna (Philip). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Christ the King Parish Hall (580 5th St E, Shaunavon, SK S0N2M0).
