He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jewitt and Olefa Jewitt; his sisters, Alice Gelinas and Elaine Gatzke; and his son-in-law Garth Merryweather.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his daughter Janine; his grandsons, Nolan and Aidan Merryweather; his daughters, Lorene, Kirsten and Erin (Todd Black); and his grandchildren, Ryersen and Marshall Black. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (704 Adamson Cres, Shellbrook, SK S0J2E0).
In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in Earl's memory to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Brightholme Cemetery Fund (Box 41, Leask, SK S0J 1M0) or the Shellbrook and District Health Services Foundation (Box 33, Shellbrook, SK S0J 2E0).
