He was predeceased by: his parents, William Greyeyes and Catherine Greyeyes; his brother Vernon Greyeyes; and his grandparents, Shem and Nancy Ahenakew.
He is survived by: his children, Charity Greyeyes and Devlin Checkosis (Kristy); his adoptive sons, Ron Ballantyne and Darius Hyman; his siblings, Sharleen Urusulak, Karen Greyeyes, Wendy Lafond (George), Randy Greyeyes (Sandra) and Gerald Greyeyes (Debbie); his grandchildren, Adrien, Aislynn, Catherine, Samson, Rae Lynn, Torri, Alysha and Dylan; and his great grandchild Xander. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
