We announce the death of Robert Lloyd Barkway in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald and Lily; his sisters, Mavis Dewan and Elizabeth "Betty" Jones; his siblings-in-law, Al Dewan, Delbert Jones, Tom Schapansky, Gerald Halayka, William Fuller, Stanley Prosser and Mary Jean Schapansky; his niece Lana Schapansky; and his great-nephew David Wooley.
He is survived by: his friend Arnold Holmes of Chamber's Massey Harris; and his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Fuller.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Shellbrook Community Hall.
In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Bob may be directed to the Shellbrook and District Health Services Foundation (Box 33, Shellbrook, SK S0J 2E0) or Saint Andrews Anglican Church in Shellbrook, SK.
