She was predeceased by: her father Clifton Ben; her brothers, Jordan Ben and Kanyne Ben; and her grandfather Peter Merz. She is survived by: her husband Sheldon Bigsky; her mother Dayna Okanee; her siblings, Horizon Okanee, Jaedon Ben and Rayna Ben (Quaylen); her nieces, Solene Crookedneck and Kaedence Okanee-Whitehead; and her grandmothers, Jenny Ben and Yvonne Okanee. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, extended family.
A wake was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Community Hall, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, Saskatchewan. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
