He is survived by : his mother Sheila Mitsuing (Philip); his siblings, Calvin Morningchild (Reinetta), Jessica Morningchild, Leila Lewis (Rolan), Morris Lewis (Heather), Mitch Lewis, Joleen Lewis, Leroy Sandfly, Johnaton Benson, Arron Benson, Brent Martin and Evan Kahpoonapit; his children, Jaylene Littlewolfe (Clayton), Summer Morningchild (Ajin), Caleb Morningchild and Akima McFeeters; his grandchildren, Mosum Jecht Morningchild and Tegan Morningchild; and his stepsiblings, Angel Whitehead, Rebecca Lasas, Leslie Mitsuing, Neil Pahtayken and Courtney Mitsuing. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, and relatives.
