He was predeceased by: his father Louis Keenatch; his brother Noel Crookedneck; his grandparents, William, Agnes, Dick, Mary, Soloman and Maria Masuskapoe (Bear); and his aunts and uncles, Allen Crookedneck, George Crookedneck, John Keenatch (Margarette), Albert Keenatch of Whitefish, Maria Lachance (Joseph) of Whitefish and Agnes Partridge Crookedneck of Ministikwan.

He is survived by: his wife Velma; his mother Margaret; his adoptive mother Bernice Crookedneck; and his siblings, Beverly, Diane Waskewitch (Mervin), Verna, Marcella Crookedneck, Katie Crookedneck and Allen Dumais. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
