With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Lawrence Hughes (St Walburg, Saskatchewan), born in Turtleford, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Hughes and Joan Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his daughter Bonnie (Garry); his grandsons, Wyatt and Theodore; his daughter Nicole (Shaun); his grandchildren, Nathan, Elizabeth and Julia; his daughter Rosalie (Mike); his grandchildren, Riley and Ethan; his daughter Heather (Shane); his grandchildren, Larissa, Damien and Hailey; his brother Michael; and his sister-in-law Claire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Memorials in honour of Larry may be made to Parkinson Canada.
