He is survived by: his son Sean Smith (Barbara); his grandchildren, Alexa and Stephen; his child Ivor Smith (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Lindon and Gunnar; his daughter Jeannine Smith; his grandchild Rowan; his daughter Donna Smith; his stepsons, Michael Lulchak (Elizabeth) and Greg Lulchak (Kim); his grandchildren, Katie and William; his stepdaughter Debbie Hampson (Blair); his grandchildren, Bailey, Cassidy, Dale Lulchak and Amelia; and his brother Douglas Smith.

Memorial donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion or Hospice at Glengarda via St. Paul's Hospital Foundation in Saskatoon.
