He was predeceased by : his siblings, Ruth, Kay, Alice and Albert. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Erhardt; his children, Craig Johnson and Velda Rupchan (Doug); his grandchildren, Lisa Cardinal (James) and Darren Rupchan (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Nick, Jake, Teynika, Jasia and Rylan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to the Last Mountain Regional Park or Strasbourg Golf Course.
