He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Michele; his grandchildren, Millie, Woody, River, Winnie and Ozzie; his children, Dan Jr. (Jenny) and Niki (Chris); his siblings, Tom Christiansen (Tara) and Lee Ann Luepke (Pat); his nieces and nephews, Brody, Maddy Knelsen and Dalton Christiansen; his grandparents, Jessie and Dick McCarthy; his parents, Mae Christiansen and Glen Christiansen; his in-laws, John, Norma, Lindsay and Joy Mueller; his uncles, Bud and Blaine McCarthy; and also Charmaine.
