David Penner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2026, at the age of 91, David Penner of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret Klippenstein. He is survived by: his sister Katy; his wife Anne Friesen; his daughters, Gwen Dueck (Ken), Connie Epp, Glenda Wall (Barry) and Cyndy Bhattacharya (Janok); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Derek, Kelsy, Bridgette, Kendra, Justin, Brett and Darren; his sister Anne Tymos; his stepchildren, Irwin, Karen McLeod (Rory), Rosanne Loeppky (Don) and Lawrence (Angie); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Rebecca, Matthew, Mitchell and Maverick. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Swift Current Funeral Home & Crematorium (233 Lorne St E, Swift Current, SK S9H1V3). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Mount Pleasant Burial Park. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bridgeway Community Church (510 13 Ave NE, Swift Current, SK S9H4K1).
