She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Waite and Annie Waite; her husband Rudolph Thoreson; and her brothers, Robert Waite and Allan Waite.

She is survived by : her son Terry Thoreson (Bruna Scharf); her brother Doug Waite (Blanche Waite); her sister-in-law Sharon Waite; her nephews, Brian Waite, Gary Waite (Kate Waite) and Trevor Waite (Corie Day); her niece Angela Waite; her granddaughter Clarissa Markling (Jeremy Markling); and her great grandchild Jeff Markling.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Gull Lake.
