He was predeceased by: his parents, William James (Jimmy) and Viola Dunlop; his parents-in-law, Frank and Esther Hogg; his siblings-in-law, Russell Hogg, Larry Hogg, Don Schwedelsky, Ole Olafson and Jean Schwedelsky; and his grandson Travis.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughter Kendra (Henry); his grandsons, Justin (Courtney) and Michael (Clèmence); his great grandchild Theodore; and his siblings, Doreen, Joyce (Roy), Dixie (Dennis) and Alex (Brenda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
