He was predeceased by : his parents, Emil Melhoff and Zetta Melhoff; his daughter Lori Ellen; his siblings, Phyllis Harper, Douglas Melhoff and Merl Melhoff; his sister-in-law Faye Melhoff; his nephew Kim Melhoff; his stepmother Isa May Melhoff; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Remple and Carolyn Remple.

He is survived by : his wife Doreen; his children, Steven Melhoff of Saskatoon, Judy Melhoff of Saskatoon, Jennifer Hennig (Craig) of Swift Current and Paul Melhoff of Swift Current; his grandchildren, Devon Hennig (Nicole) of Toronto, Jarrett Hennig of Abu Dhabi, UAE, Kristin Kurtenbach of Saskatoon and Hannah Kurtenbach of Saskatoon; and his siblings-in-law, John Remple (Shauna) of Swift Current and Vicki Field of Swift Current. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
