He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendel Laturnus and Margret Laturnus; his parents-in-law, Peter and Eugenia Geiger; his son-in-law Melvin Olson; and his sisters, Rosie Rushinko and Helen Dumont.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Laturnus; his children, Wayne Laturnus (Caralee), Karen Kress (Gerald), Bernice Olson and Howard Laturnus (Bonnie); his sisters, Dorothy Zohner and Pauline Gardner; his sister-in-law Doris Geiger; and his uncle Martin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A prayer was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home (126 2 Ave NE, Swift Current, SK S9H2C7). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church (1850 Springs Gate, Swift Current, SK S9H4E1).
