She was predeceased by: her parents, Alf NE (Ada Reid) and Ave N. E.; her daughter Mary Jane; her husbands, Richard Covey and Elphege Laverdiere; her son Stephen; and her stepson Denis Laverdiere.
She is survived by: her children, Patti and Michael (Marina); her stepdaughter Claire Laverdiere (Charlie Phills); her grandchildren, Casey (Leo), Tyler, Shane (Rachelle), Michael J. (Sarah), Chris and Ashley (Alicia); and her great grandchildren, Rowan, Atlas, Tyson, Sutter, Aleah, Kaysen, Emma, Matthew, Jade, Haley, Katie and Presley. She is also survived by numerous extended family members, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church (1850 Springs Gate, Swift Current, SK S9H4E1). A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (1555 Memorial Dr, Swift Current, SK S9H5T8).
